Links Language Institute's sole field of concentration is its unique Spanish program carefully designed to meet the needs of the international student who wishes to devote a minimum of four weeks to acquiring a good working knowledge of Spanish.

While the language basics are taught to small groups in the classroom, students have ample opportunity to practice through total immersion in Guayaquil 's Latin American culture.

Students whose Spanish is sufficiently advanced may register at U.E.E.S. courses. Tourism and Hotel Management are available, as are Foreign Trade, other languages including Japanese and Mandarin and many other fields. Students may avail themselves of a liberal arts education which encompasses basics in humanities and sciences. The liberal arts college is similar to liberal arts colleges in the United States . The University's individual schools, on the other hand, offer courses leading to specific professional degrees,

Thanks to the Institute's close links with Espíritu Santo University, students will be immersed in an institution of higher learning that offers varied careers and activities. The fact that LINKS LANGUAGE INSTITUTE classes are taught at Espíritu Santo University will give LINKS students the opportunity to make friends as soon as they arrive, even if they do not choose to pursue university courses..

Those who elect the homestay alternative , will be virtual members of an Ecuadorian family and will have endless opportunities of practicing their newly acquired skills.

Since classes are taught in the morning,  students can avail themselves of  the varied weekday activities the Institute offers. Weekends, at the student's request, the Institute will arrange for unforgettable adventure excursions.
