Although LINKS LANGUAGE INSTITUTE's standard courses are four weeks long with 20 hours per week, longer courses are also available. They can take you to advanced levels of conversation, pronunciation or business Spanish. Literature courses, both with Spanish or with Latin American readings, can extend through a very enjoyable stay.

If students wish to stay with us longer than the standard courses, we offer them the opportunity to study a tuition-free fourth month. In other words, if you stay with us for three months you pay no tuition on the fourth month.

Classes start the year round every two weeks, at the beginning, intermediate or advanced levels. You are not required to know any Spanish to start with. A diagnostic test upon arrival will place you at the appropriate level. After that, you may stay and progress with us for as long as you wish. Standard courses are planned so as to leave enough time for practicing newly acquired skills, not only with the Ecuadorian homestay family but also in programmed activities.

There are enough attractions in Ecuador to make a longer stay unforgettably pleasant. If you wish, LINKS will arrange for a trip to the Galápagos Islands at special rates.

Course fees are US$ 800 for a 4-week course of 20 hours per week. Weekend adventure will be organized on request. Surfing, mountain climbing, jungle trekking. You name it.

Homestay cost varies depending on whether students choose private rooms or prefer to share their accommodation, but it will average US$ 480 per month, with bed and breakfast.
