Globalization and the Spanish language
In a globalized world, languages are indispensable. If there is no common language, fast travel and instant communication are meaningless. At the speed of light, technological miracles put us in touch with people of all nations.. What good is this if we can't understand and be understood by those we are put in touch with?   A common language is the very root of human understanding.

Why Spanish
In today's world, Spanish is the second most common language. Millions speak it. Even in the United States, which has for over two centuries been a one-language nation Spanish is the first primary tool of communication for millions. Although Spanish speaking world is huge, there are no differences in spelling between nations and differences in pronunciation and idiom are insignificant.  The language of Spain puts you in communication an uncounted population and opens marvellous opportunities for business and culture.

Why Ecuador
Ecuador is an island of peace in a strife-torn world. Even political upheavals here are peaceful.  The U.S. Ambassador said that you could not live here without falling in love with Ecuador. It is so small that distances between the most incredible  tourist opportunities are never great. Tropical jungle is but a short drive from some of the world's  highest mountains and volcanoes.
